About Ways and Means
A Personal Introduction.....
Being organised is truly at the core of who I am — both professionally and personally.
With over 15 years of extensive experience as a C-suite Executive Assistant, I have had the privilege of working closely with CEOs, Boards, and Executive Directors across FTSE 100 and 250 companies in London and the South West. This high-level 'always-on' support has shaped my ability to anticipate needs, streamline processes, and provide unwavering assistance in high-pressured environments.
I began my career in retail and customer service before moving into an Executive PA role at the head office of a well-known retailer best known for its beloved Percy Pig! It was there that I realised the impact of not just managing tasks effectively and at pace, but the importance of fully understanding the individuals I supported in a holistic manner - helping them to excel both personally and professionally.
On a more personal note, I grew up caring for a parent with complex mental health needs. I feel that this experience instilled in me a deep sense of emotional intelligence, and adaptability, working with various professionals at different levels to advocate on behalf of a parent that can't always do this for themselves.
I set-up Ways and Means PA Services in 2021 as I wanted to take the experiences I had learnt and help a variety of different businesses run like clockwork behind the scenes so that they could focus on growth and achieve their dreams.
The name was born from trying to capture the essence of this and the Executive Assistant role in general - doing everything you can to support those you are working with, using all ways and means possible at your disposal.
Growing my own company at the same time as supporting other owners, I feel I have an unique insight into the time administrative demands can take up. Therefore I also use a small and trusted team of associates to support me too and I couldn't do what I do now without them!
When your business reaches the point where you can no longer manage it all on your own, that’s a clear sign of growth and I see that as a success worth celebrating!
Ways and Means is my passion. Let me help you focus on yours.
